Report on Dinner.


The Pre-Conference Dinner was held in the Peninsular Room at the Cavalry and Guards Club, London.  Twenty-seven guests attended including the Chairman of the Friends of the Lines of Torres Vedras, Andrew Dismore and the Secretary-General of the British Commission for Military History, Andrew Grainger. We were honoured to welcome the Portuguese Ambassador, His Excellency, Manuel Lobo Antunes as our guest.
