The Lines today

Picture
Significant work has been done over the last few years to preserve and repair the Lines.  This work has been organised by the local Municipalities with some funding coming from European Economic Area grants.  A visitor today will find road signs to many of the forts, with display boards at each location and a range of leaflets and books available in different languages.

Visitors can also take in the wonderful scenery, the wildlife, the food and the good wine on their travels.
